Eine Reise zusammen mit seinem Jugendfreund Martin Steckdaub auf die indonesische Insel Flores ver\u00e4nderte seinen Blick auf seinen bisherigen Berufsweg und bot ihm die Chance auf eine neue sinnstiftende Arbeit, die ihn bis heute mit gro\u00dfer Leidenschaft erf\u00fcllt. \r\nAuf Flores wurden Jochen Wolf und Martin Steckdaub auf ein Bio-Cashewprojekt aufmerksam, das 560 Cashew-Farmerfamilien eine Zukunftsperspektive bot und Cashewkerne von au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlicher Qualit\u00e4t erzeugte. Doch das Projekt stand kurz vor dem Scheitern, da es keine Absatzm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr die Bio-Cashewkerne gab. Kurz entschlossen kauften die zwei 60 Tonnen Rohn\u00fcsse und finanzierten den Verarbeitungsprozess. Im Januar 2006 gr\u00fcndeten sie die Flores Farm, um dieses Projekt zu stabilisieren.
