Nach seinem Abschluss besch\u00e4ftigte er sich intensiver mit bio-veganer Landwirtschaft, z.B. durch Mitwirkung im Bio-Veganen Netzwerk f\u00fcr Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau (BVN - biovegan.org) oder im Bem\u00fchen eine bio-vegane Hofgemeinschaft zu gr\u00fcnden. Daniel Mettke arbeitete nach seinem Abschluss auf verschiedenen \u00f6kologischen Betrieben und spezialisierte sich immer mehr auf die Bereiche Obst- und Gem\u00fcseproduktion, Handel und landwirtschaftliche Beratung. Er war und ist aktiv in der Anti-Atombewegung in der Region Gorleben\/Wendland. Seit 2017 ist er als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer bzw. Vorstandssprecher f\u00fcr den neu-gegr\u00fcndeten Verein Biozyklisch-Veganer Anbau - BIO.VEG.AN. t\u00e4tig, mit dem Ziel der F\u00f6rderung und Etablierung von veganer und \u00f6kologisch nachhaltiger Lebensmittelproduktion auf institutioneller Ebene.
